I’ve noticed recently that I’ve taken to floating. It’s very much in the music I’ve been listening to, queuing up more swooping and atmospheric tracks that make me feel like I’m suspended in air, water, or a dream. It’s in the sensory-depriving darkness of my HTHTS “recording studio” - a closet separating me from the daily stimuli and anxieties of my 400 sq ft live-workspace. Going back into this closet [an idiomatic fallacy and crime] both helps me feel a bit lighter in consciousness and better primed to experiment and make stuff.
